Fendt Tractor

Features

Our large horsepower Fendt tractor is fully guarded and set up for vegetation mulching, rock mulching and stump mulching.

Two different gearboxes are available for the Fendt tractor: one for stump grinding (high speed) and one for stone grinding and crushing (slow speed). The high horsepower motor allows the mulching head to achieve maximum horsepower. The sophisticated drive system of the tractor slows ground movement to allow extra flow and the mulcher bogs down allowing it to successfully mulch through a range of vegetation and rock. The Fendt tractor can also be equipped with a narrow mulching head with the capability of mulching underground to crush stumps and rocks. Specialised teeth are interchangeable with sharper thinner teeth for stump grinding and heavier thicker teeth for rock grinding. A third attachment called an M.T.H. head will grind the ground to up to 300mm below turning rock reefs and heavy rock into small rubble.

The tractor console is reversible allowing the operator to drive the mulcher in reverse for better visibility and comfort.

Uses

Capable of large-scale mulching of trees and very heavy undergrowth, the mulching tractor is ideal for orchard removal, firebreak establishment, fire mitigation, large scale woody weed removal and large-scale hectare mulching of any vegetation.

The Fendt mulching tractor can be used to grind the stumps of orchards as well as any other trees which have been removed. Plantation stumps can be removed to below the ground surface to allow for future planting and pasture establishment.

Any rocks that are ripped up in deep ripping operations when planting vineyards and orchards can be crushed/mulched using our stone crushing mulcher. A change of gearbox and teeth allow the mulcher to smash the rocks up with ease. Rock reefs on roads and tracks can also be treated with this head. Stoney outcrops in your property can be made useable after being treated with the Fendt tractor and mulching head.
