MVS operate two crane and tipper combination trucks. Our larger truck has a reach of 15 metres while our smaller truck has a reach of 9 metres. Both trucks can be fitted with rotating grapples, a clamshell bucket, or the standard hook for added versatility.
Uses
Adding the crane to two of our tipper trucks allows MVS to pick up logs, timber, implements and, if necessary, dirt and mulch using the crane, grab, and grapple. This reduces loading time and allows better salvage of timber. These trucks are versatile for use not only in our tree crews but also for our environmental clean-up/GPT clean out works. The crane trucks support our excavator and heavy equipment operations by being able to transport our attachments. We also utilise a variety of hire trucks when necessary to complete a job with maximum efficiency, ensuring they are completed to the highest standard.
